"Imitate me,just as I also imitate Christ"(1 Corinthians 11:1)
I don't like to imitate others because I want to be original & I prefer to posses a "peculiar"kind of personality.However,it has come to my attention today that this word "imitate"has a deeper comprehension.Allow me to amplified .It is called "patterning".It's good to pattern your self with those great man of God who have patterned them self in the similitude of Christ.Heard of "mirror neuron"before?Well it is the 'neuron substance' is your nerve cell where much "imitation skill "originated.Your neuron system needed a supernatural mirror i.e."THE WORD OF GOD" aka LOGOS of Jehovah to stimulate your brain to imitate the things of God.Man is created to posses a mirror neuron which allow us to learn new skill by imitating.
It's far more better to allow the Holy Ghost in us as the driving force behind the 'mirror"of your neuron.Many great man of God has been exhorting us be filled with the Holy Spirit that we may walk in the Spirit.Why?Because by doing so,you are allowing the Holy Ghost to control you mirror neuron system to constantly pattern the way of Christ.Since we cannot see Jesus,let us look for a 'God man'and 'imitate"His faith and Christ like lifestyle characters.The Master has spoken :"It is written,"Man shall not live by bread alone,but by every word of God"(Luke 4:4-NKJV)
AND so be it..Imitate me,just as I also imitate Christ!
