THE FOUR HORSEMAN OF THE ACOPALYPSE-PART 3

Revelation 6:5-6"When He opened the third seal,I heard the third living creature say."Come and see."So I looked,and behold,a black horse,and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying,"A quart of wheat for a denarius,and three quarts of barley for a denarius,and do not harm the oil and the wine".
The colour black is use to identify or symbolizes famine in such portion of scripture such as Jeremiah 4:28 and Lam 4:8-9.The black horse of the apocalypse thus represent  a great famine were to occur.Therefore we can easily understand that following closely behind the red horse of war is the black horse of Famine.After the world war 1,a great famine has grip the entire world.
With such great famine during the Tribulation,inflation will head its course tremendously.The balance of scales in the hand of the black horse rider indicates the scarcity of food.A denarius or a penny is the equivalent of a person's salary for one day (Mat 20:2,9) and a quart of wheat  is about a pint,a minimum daily sustenance diet of a person.
The same thing about the three measure /quart of barley which are also a minimum daily sustenance for one person.Thus,this scripture indicates that inflation rate was so high that a person will have to work for a whole day just to earn enought money to live daily for himself and leave nothing for the family or the elderly.
The rider of the black horse however is instructed not to damage the oil and the wain.Oil and wain are traditionally foods for the rich.As in the case of all wars and resulting famine,this inflation and famine will be affecting mostly the common people.Up next who will follow this black horse?Behold the pale horse is coming!I will describe this pale horse's representation in my next blog

SABBATH DAY, HOLY DAY

“He said to them ‘the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also the Lord of the Sabbath”

GOD’S WORD: MARK 2:27-28

Sabbath day is a rest day before the Lord. But in the New Testament, Sabbath is a Holy Day for the Lord. To Christian ,everyday is a Sabbath Day , for every given day is a Holy Day unto the Lord, not even ONE day pass

(Exodus 31:13-17).Many churches (The Seventh Day Adventist or True Jesus Church) erroneously practice Saturday as the day of worship (Sabbath) and thus condemned other Christian’s churches that worship God on Sunday or other day. They even accuse those who worship on Sunday follow paganism who worship the ‘day of the sun god: - Sun Day’. There is only One God Almighty that I worship every day. What if I say that those who worship on Saturday worship the god of Saturn which is also paganism?

Christ Jesus rose from the dead just after the Sabbath Jews calendar and therefore instituted is as “THE LORD’S DAY” .It was on the FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK after Sabbath(Mark 16:1-2),verse 9). It was Jesus’s Resurrection Day called ‘The Lord’s Day ‘(Revelation 1:10). From that day, disciples of Jesus gather together to worship God in prayer and breaking of the bread (Communion) on the Lord’s Day just after Sabbath which fall on Sunday. Acts 20: 7 “ Now on the first day of the week , when the disciples came together to break bread , Paul ready to depart the next day ,spoke to them and continued his message until midnight”. 1 Corinthians 16: 2 also says “On the first day of the week, let each one of you lay something aside...” Mark 16:9 clearly wrote “Now when He rose early on the FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK…”

“Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28)

THERE IS A PRICE TO PAY TO BE CHRIST'S FOLLOWER

Jesus said ‘Whoever desire to follow Me,let him deny himself and take up His cross and follow Me” Mark 8:34

His words simply means;

i. You put God’s will & God’s word as your first priority in absolute obedient,willingly with sacrificial attitude.You will have to deny your fleshly impulse and own desire in other to fulfill God’s holy desire.

ii. You will then will have to carry your own ”cross” daily.Cross symbolize all the burdens you suffer as a Christian. Many will go against you when you obey God’s word.You will be prosecuted, suffers emotional harsh treatment because of your faith.You will even get physicall attack from the enemy.These are normally done by non-believer,non-born again christian,false brother and even from the devil himself(Calamities and sickness).Jesus says that we are to carry such crosses of suffering as His follower.

iii. To follow Jesus is to do all His commands.Where to find all His command? The FOUR GOSPEL(Matthew,Mark,Luke,John),The book of Revelation..the whole entire Bible.

Dr.M.R.De Haan,the great prophecy bible teacher sum it this way:”To come to Christ cost nothing,to follow Christ cost something,but to serve Christ cost everything”Costly?YES!Simple test:Will you trade watching your favorite TV program with a 1 hour prayer and bible reading for 1 hour?Do ponder.

THE SECOND RED HORSE
Revelation 6:1-8"
When He opened the second seal,I heard the second living creature saying,"Come and see."Another horse fiery red went out.And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth,and that people should kill one another;and there was given to him a great sword.


There is a famous slogan that says "Peace,no war!".Its simply means,when there is no peace,there will be wars.The Antichrist is the initiator of war.Trailing behind him is the advent of the second horse of Revelation,which is red in color ,telling us that the rider will shed many bloodshed and wherever he goes there will be no peace in the society.The great sword in his hand is a symbol of bloodshed and war. Jesus has spoken that there will be war and rumors of war towards the end.

Towards the end,mankind will be obsess with making war against each other because they covet things that they do not have and desires to take things by force.From just a war between two brothers,it will grow and become a global war where nation will make war against nation and kingdom will make war against kingdom and thus this eventually will trigger a world war III.Such are the calamity that will occur during the first quarter of the first three and half year Tribulation.This red horse with its rider is again reveal the dark side of the Antichrist.He will firstly try to conquer nation or kingdom with diplomatic way.If his term was refuse he will then make war to conquer and no one can stop him now because Christ's Church the "restrainer" are long been raptured by now.

Revelation 6:1-8"Now I saw when lamb open one of the seals;and I heard one of the four living creatures saying witha voice like thunder."Come and see."And I looked,and behold and white horse.He who sat on it had a bow;

and crown was given to him,and he went out conquering and to conquer.When He opened the second seal,I heard the second living creature saying,"Come and see."Another horse fiery red went out.

And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth,and that people should kill one another;and there was given to him a great sword.When He opened the third seal.I heard the third living creature say."Come and see."So I looked,and behold,a black horse,and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying,"A quarte of wheat for a denarius and thre quart of barley for a denarius;and do not harm the oil and the wine."When He opened the fourth seal,I heard the fourth living creature saying,"Come and see."So I looked,and behold,a pale horse.And the name of him who sat on it was Death,and Hades followed with him.And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth,to kill with sword,with hunger,with death and by the beast of the earth."


The Book of Revelation was written to reveal things of the past,present and future events .Jesus Christ, the" Lamb of God"(John 1:29) as mentioned in Chapter six,was seen by John as the only one who was found worthy to open the future prophetic events that will take place sometime in the future..A scroll, written by God Himself and was sealed with seven seals is about to be open.(Rev 5:1-7).The first four seals that was loosen reveals the four awesome entities which are populary known by many prophecy scholars as the "Four horseman of the Apocalypse".These four entities can be interpreted both symbolically and literally.In Matthew 24:6-8,Jesus said that part of the beggining of sorrows or tribulation are "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars(verse 6)..."For nation will rise against nation,and kingdom against kingdom.And there will be famines,pestilences,and earthquakes in various places"(Verse 7).

In my previous posting,I have written about a brief history of wars such as world war I and II,which I believed was the partial fullfilment of Christ's prophecy that wars and rumors of war must come to pass signs that we are living in the last days and that His second coming is near.So does the frequent occurance of earthquakes and Tsunami Flood.However,what triggered me the most is that a yet upcoming major and great war is about to happen which will end with major casualties with a trail of famines and deadly pestilences.

I am talking about a world war III,for after Christ mentioned about wars and rumors of wars,He continued by saying that "Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom".This kind of nation and kingdom conflict is no more a secular wars but a global and national world war.Now, let us carefully observe these events:World war (nation and kingdom),famines and pestilences because I believe that these three key elements are what the four horseman are representing.


Its is my belief that the unvealing of the four horseman and the breaking of the four seal will occur during the first quater of the first three and a half years of the seven years tribulation period.Jesus said that this is beginning of sorrow,and threfore the four seal shall be loosen after the rapture of the Church and after the AntiChrist has sign the seven years peace treaty with the Jews.World war III is inevitable and I believed that the Antichrist is the main person behind such catasthropic war which spread out globally ,creating a world war III.Now let us examine what does the four horseman symbolizes.


1.FIRST HORSEMAN:The rider of this horse had a crown but it was given to him.He is holding a bow but with no arrow and he rides a horse whose colour is white,a colour which many of us believe to represent a clean,pure and even a holy personality.This rider is none other than the Antichrist himself in which he prsent himself as a man of peace who came into the world trying to imitate the personality of Christ.Holding a bow without an arrow shows that he will succeed in his plan to conquer by diplomacy and not war initially.Many nations will willingly surrender their authority and leadership to him (crown was given to him).Emperors such as Napoleon,Alexander the great and many would be conquerors all rode in horses.

The Antichrist seen here is riding on a white horse because he want to present himself as a religious,holy and charimastic personality in which many will be deceive.In the later part,the Antichrist will leave a trail of wars,famine and death.It is also interesting to note that in Revelation chapter 19:11-16,we will also see another white horse being ridden by no other than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself as He led His armies of saints coming down to earth to set His millenial Kingdom.In Verse 16,the Lord carried a name written on His robe and on His thigh as the "KING OF KINGS AND LORDS OF LORDS".Jesus is the King of Kings and therefore He wears many crowns.(Rev 19:12).
